Hey Mark, DVDs will become available sometime next year after a theatrical release, which we hope to get funded soon. We’re working on international distribution too, but we can’t promise UK just yet. Stay tuned and thanks for your support!
as mark said above i`m in the UK too and wouldn`t be a hot rod artist if it wasnt for Mr Williams…please keep us informed when it becomes available to buy on dvd

mint! Any screenings coming to the east coast?? skoolyardbully.net
Hey! We’re hoping to have East Coast screenings soon. We’ll definitely have our sights on East Coast theaters if we can fully fund our Kickstarter campaign, so spread the word and we appreciate your support!
This documentary must be seen by any person young or old who wishes to learn what REAL art is about and by that I do not mean just pretty pictures but the benefits of learning how to REALLY draw and paint. Also this film will give a glimpse into ones psyche to assit them in realizing that that real art is not shitting on canvas and spreading it around, or putting paint on yourself and throwing yourself against the canvas, which is what so called art schools emphasize today, but that real art requires dedication, learning the lost craft of REAL drawing and painting that seemed to die when impressionism came around and the 40s and sixties hit. This film also shows that Basquiat, Warhol, Cy Twombly, are not real artists, they were and always will be fads.
PLEASE show it in Calfornia again! Preferably the Norton Simon or the Getty museum if possible 🙂 or better MOMA! 😀
I am a huge, long time Robert Williams fan. I love his work and find him to be extremely interesting and entertaining in print interviews and videos. I would purchase or otherwise support anything he puts out. Now, having said that, would whoever is responsible just please release this fucking movie on home video already!! How much longer do we have to wait? Sure, I would love to see it in a theatre but it hasn’t come anywhere near me yet and I would be fine just watching it on my TV. Is this the same project that started off as “I’d Rather Be Dead Than Mellow” about a hundred years ago? Even if it’s not, enough already! This was running neck and neck with the Lemmy documentary for a while in terms of movies I was dying to see but were taking forever to come out for sale. Lemmy was released to Blu – Ray over a year ago. I don’t give a shit any more about what film festival in Idaho or wherever this is playing next. Please release this motherfucker to the people already! Thank you.
WOW!!!! Robert Williams must rate as the Dali of the present day! Just breath taking work.
Best regards,
Chris Boyle.
Why isn’t this for sale yet on dvd/blu-ray?
Basquiat is one of my favorites:) When I first saw his work didn’t know anything about him at all (so clearly wasn’t reacting to hype). Just that what I saw blew my head off as just about nothing ever had before. Have many favorite artists but only a very select few have affected me like that. There is a great doc about him called “The Radiant Child.”
Robert Williams.. When will the dvd be released here in the USA? See it was supposed to be a year in November 2011. Cannot wait to see it!
